Cyanide |
|
Description | Hydrogen cyanide, otherwise known simply as cyanide, can be produced in high concentrations from the burning of nitrogen containing polymers. Hydrocyanic acid and its potassium and sodium salts are used as fumigants, insecticides and metal polishes, just to name a few. Cyanide is a highly toxic poison; victims may die within minute of exposure. |
