Warnings |
Esomeprazole (Nexium) is the s-isomer of omeprazole (Prilosec). Esomeprazole is a prescription drug, while omeprazole can be obtained OTC. Our laboratory, using our current methods, can not distinguish between the r- and s-isomer. Therefore, our laboratory reports any drug matching either of these compounds as "omeprazole." |
